Hands On Osteopathy
Many of my clients ask Dr. Kirstie what it is it she does? The umbrella philosophy is osteopathy. Dr. Kirstis is a hands on osteopath, a.k.a. 10 finger osteopath, that has been practicing since 1996 in hands-on modalities. They are a generalist with several sub-specialties listed below. Many of their clients have chronic conditions with a trauma history, thus there practice is tailored to support these clients with a wide range of symptoms. She sees clients from infancy to the end of life. Their approach is integrative, holistic with compassionate care. See following section for more details.

ABOUT ME
Dr. Kirstie is a Doctor of Integrative Medicine and Osteopathy (Manual), Board Certified Structural Integrator, and Structural Yoga Therapist. I have been practicing for over 29 years in the healing arts since 1996.
Dr. Kirsite is a Manual Osteopathy and completed their Doctorate of Osteopathy in January of 2024 after ten years of studing with osteopaths. My thesis is on Trauma Informed Osteopathic Approach: The Art of Listening and is available in my blog.
EXPERIENCE
Dr. Kirsite consider herself a Somatic Medicine practitioner offering an environment to dialogue and access the Soma (Greek derivation is "body") and Rewyld ourselves through a process of integration of wholeness.
Their area of expertise is in working with individuals with birth and childhood trauma, chronic pain, Fibromyalgia, scoliosis, pre/postpartum care for moms, and Neurocomplex individuals.
Their lineage of training draws on Manual Osteopathy through their trainings and certifications in Structural Integration, Craniosacral, Visceral, Neural and Myofascial Release.
She has over 7,000 hours in continuing education/training in my field and over 30,000 hours of teaching bodywork and movement in a university setting.

She does not prescribe or support the use of drugs, pharmacology or vaccines as stated in the tenants of classic osteopathy. Nature is the cure and supporting the human body, mind and spirit in integration and natural movement to heal in the wholistic systems of the body--circulatory, nervous and fascial.

The work Dr. Kirstie does require more than one session as it focuses on transformation and supporting the health in your system. First time session is 75 minutes and the fee is $200 and follow-up sessions are 60 minutes for $165.
First time clients please email Dr. Kirstie to schedule. I see clients on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday (12:30 pm, 1:45 pm, 3:00 pm and 4:15 pm) as I teach at the university on other days.

Effective April 1, 2025 I will only see clients for 60 minutes (My colleagues in Santa Fe charge $200 for 60 minutes):

First Session is $200 for 75 minutes.

Regular sessions are $165 for 60 minutes (The time slots are 12:30 pm, 1:45 pm, 3:00 pm and 4:15 pm on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays)

I see children (0-12 yrs) on sliding scale for $50 for 30 minutes (parents must be present for treatment) available on Mondays at 12:00 pm only. To book short session contact me directly.
